Currently i have 5 projects to deal with,
including Gems assignment, that's 6.
All projects' presentations/submissions squeezed
between 2 weeks.
FOM down, PTH- almost there, but not yet.
submission of PTH guidebook is, tmr.

Followed by CRS discussion and OM report submission,
then IDEAS presentation. These 3 are due next week.
Then the week after, finally, is our gems' presentation cum roleplay. -.-
it's going to be a roleplay. 50% weightage.
and my team members are from, biomedical science?
so yea we got to have a few meet-ups every week now for our group project.

and after the projects are done, exams will be next.

anyways. school stuff aside.
I recently watched "the blind side" with kak fareha and it was awesome. (:
haha, kinda cosy, both of us watched the movie like we were at home.
i liked the storyline, it was simple yet interesting at the same time.
and touching too. Sandra Bullock is really a good actress.

okay, seems like i dont have time to blog a bit more,
shall post again another time. (:

back to projectsssss. :/

Okay im going to blog about something which
kind of ruined my day.
and it is, animal cruelty.
I recently watched this video which is circulating around the web,
about a woman
apparently they said she is from China,
who was totally torturing a kitten. A KITTEN.

One of my friends posted the video in facebook,
and i viewed it. i didnt really know what was coming.
after the first 10 or 15 seconds i stopped the video.
Couldnt bring myself to finish viewing it. :(
It's sad and painful at the same time to just view,
and the image of the kitten keeps playing in my mind.
It's so.. small. and helpless.

And that woman, at first, was carrying the kitten in her arms,
then she gently laid it on the floor, and started to step on it. using her heels.
the kitten was obviously in pain, you could HEAR it.
it was horrible, so horrible i think i could cry if i watch the whole video.
seriously, that was way beyond animal cruelty. what kind of person is she?

and this has became an issue.
there is even a facebook group about the video.
It's called "she deserves to die for torturing a kitten!"
i came across this group a few minutes ago, so yea i was reminded of
the horrible video and i so want to blog about it.
UGH. even Jay was utterly furious, in fact super furious when she viewed the video.
i bet everyone is feeling the same way as she is.

yes, this totally ruined my mood now.
i cant forget those painful images of the kitten.
=/

Emma Watson and Burberry

Okay this post is kinda random.
i was busy doing some research at Google and
i ended up browsing Emma Watson modelling for Burberry.
Pictures are interesting. haha.

Here are some facts.
Emma is modelling for Burberry's spring-summer 2010 collection.
alongside musicians such as Matt Gilmour and George Craig.
also, her 17 year old brother, Alex.
wow both of them are modelling together for Burberry.

Lilac trenchcoat, nice.

I think Emma is well known for her classic style.

oh, and she look amazing in this picture, dont you think so? and focus on the bag too. haha

alright, alright.

now i shall continue with my research, haha.

Beyond my threshold (BMT CAMP 09/10)

just came back from BMT leadership training camp on thursday.
a combined camp of sparc, compere and photographers.
it was a great great great camp of course, with the awesome high-spirited
campers and knowing more people..
BUT this camp totally drained all my energy. yes, all.

When i was on my way home in the train with
Prem, Ibrahim and all the 'east people', i already dozed off while leaning
on the doors. haha.
sleep-deprived, definitely.

the first night of camp, we slept at, 4am.
they let us sleep at 10pm at first, too good to be true for this kind of training camp.
in the end, we all had to wake up again at 12.30am for: NIGHTWALK.
hahaha i remembered the campers' zombie faces.
and also Nathan saying : "they wont let you sleep one lah.. for sure"

as usual, nightwalk means a walk around SP. seriously.
our first stop was FC2 area, we had to walk in pairs, but in the end
they let us go in fours, perhaps cos we had to solve some clues given to us
to complete the nightwalk.
my partner was Wilfred, and Jiale with Ramdan. (:

Wilfred wasnt even scared at all. as expected. hahaha.
we were like the first pair to begin the nightwalk. our names were called out first,
and i wasnt really awake actually. haha
some areas in SP were just so pitch dark at night, and we couldnt rely on the lightsticks,
they werent even visible. :/
and thanks to wilfred's lame jokes throughout the nightwalk,
i didnt feel scared most of the time.

perhaps the freakiest part was when we had to go through
that underground tunnel near FC1 area.
all 4 of us were freaked out, we hugged each other so tight and went in
together. The entrance was already so.. creepy.
there were hidden doors all the way, and during the bonding camp i saw
someone standing in between, but wilfred said that no one would dare to station
themselves there, as it was really secluded and dark.

but overall, this nightwalk wasnt scary to me, compared to bonding camp's nightwalk,
when they had 'ghosts' scaring us all the way.
This time we had to do things like, eat bread with chilli peppers, drink radish juice.. :S
omg that was unforgettable. my face changed colour when i took a sip of the radish drink.

okay so that was day 1. nightwalk and amazing race around school during the day.
day 2, we went out of school, to Hortpark,where we had our amazing race part 2.
this.was.challenging.
mainly because we had to brisk walk for at least 2.1km to reach a station.
games stations spread out all the way to Henderson bridge.

my team was made out of 6 guys and 3 girls. -.-
and the guys practically walked so fast that in the end,
we girls were left behind, running already.
one of the games was we had to carry each other and stuff like that.
we ended off the whole race with a "funky chicken dance", hahaha that was really funny.
i think our effort to finish the whole race was worth it. (:

and then, at night was PARTY TIME.
they decorated the stage at Moberly and we danced and danced for some time.
the atmosphere was great, some of the campers were really awesome dancers.
did our mass dance too. haha memories, im still smiling when im typing this. (:

and then the third day. breakfast, extremely hot Milo with biscuits.
after which we had a de brief and then photo-takinggg!
a big three cheers for our awesome camp organisers and campers, of course.

oh ya, the first night i heard someone sleeptalking.
It was hilarious because this guy fell asleep within minutes, and then started
"telling a story". hahahah the girls were trying so hard not to laugh out loud.
but i bet he was extremely shagged, that's why. :D
Govin and Vincent were, on the other hand, singing. non-stop.
it was like a radio playing, kinda annoying actually. haha
