it has been said in the papers about the dragonboating tragedy.5 paddlers from the national team had died because the boat had capsized at a river in Cambodia.
I think that it is very sad,as the team had together participated in the competition held in Cambodia,and that they had actually finished the whole thing.
But just imagine this;
if you were one of the paddlers in the boat,and had went through everything with ur mates,and that at the end of the race,some of your mates will never be with you again.
The other paddlers who survived had also been in the waters,i bet also struggling for their lives.Dragonboating is very tiring,especially after a race,and ur arm might not be as strong as before.
So,I guess the paddlers who died did not have the energy to swim for their lives or fight against the strong waves.
It's really sad,isnt it?
I have tried dragon boating myself,during GG camp.
Even though I tried it for only 1 time,it was tiring,esp for the arms.
The thing about dragon boating is,it's all about TEAMWORK.
Everyone does their part.Everyone puts in 100% effort and the boat will row smoothly.
So the relationship bonding is really strong.
That's the thing,imagine if ur partner beside you isnt there anymore at the end of the day,after a race of their combined efforts.It must have been really traumatic for most of the surviving paddlers.
I feel sorry for the all the paddlers of the national team.
It must be really hard for them now.We should really respect them,as they were representing spore in the race.
But somehow in life,we will realise that there will be something bitter and sour for us to swallow.But we just have to.We can't change the facts,that's for sure.

Okaaay.Yesterday I went out with family,practically the whole day.hahha.
First went out with deardear cuzzies,Kak Fareha and Nurul to Bugis Street to window shop.I was having a fever and sore throat AGAIN so basically,I didnt get to enjoy spicy food and only got to stare at the Hershey icecream Nurul bought. =(
Bugis street area was jam-packed with people.In other words,human sea.Saturday evenings,I should say.
Later,me and Kak Fareha saw this amazing,GORGEOUS-looking daybed at Courts.It captured our attention immediately when we walked passed it.Why?
Cos firstly,it's in pink. Secondly,it's sooo nice+lovely+comfy!
You can just relax on it after a loong day's work..
it's a daybed,so jus have to get ur pillows and zzzzzzzz...
It fits nicely for one person to lie on.Maybe two.
Kak Fareha already had plans to put it in her bedroom for her and her laptop.
Hmm..nice one for a party with ur galfrens too.
But here's the thing.It costs ; (drum roll sound effect)
Daybed : $1, 099

Abdillah: Kakak..wake up!
Me: (no response)
Abdillah: (shakes) Kakak..! Wake up!now what time already!
Me: haaa..?waaaat?
Abdillah:mama ask me to wake u up..
Me: Ok...go away laaa..kakak wanna sleep.
Abdillah: Now 12 o clock oreadi!
Me: (shocked)aaah? (grabs alarm clock)Noooo..now nine o clock laaarh.
Abdillah: I tell mama arh..
Me:tell ar.Dun disturb me.
Abdillah: (shouts)mammmmaaaaaa!!!
Abdillah: Kakak,breakfast is ready,ready already!!!
Me: (eyes half-open) Really ar? Ok..
Me: (walks like a zombie to the kitchen) where breakfast?
Abdillah: (giggles while biting his fingers) dont have...
Me: (widens eye big-big)
So you see,breakfast isnt prepared specially for me daily.
hahha.I have to prepare myself.D-uhh.
And also, I am actually being "bullied" by my bro who's only five.Grrrrr...
today,tomorrow and forever ..

OK.I think my blog's soo plain.Really ehh.Haiz. =(
Today I have basically nth to say,but i wana talk bout movies.
I feel like watching one larhh,i need a breaaak!!
I think there's ella enchanted or something right?
Dunno ar.Just any movie will do,anyone wants to treat me?? =)
Also,I'm starting to LOVE "hantu jatuh cinta",an Indonesian drama series on Suria.
For those who dont like Suria,i suggest you try watching this show.Or drama.Whatever.
It rawks laaa...soo interesting. Ok lame. =_=
But i'm an Indo-movie lover.Seriously.I'm easily attracted by indo teenage movies. =D
The Soundtrack of this drama rocks!! by peterpan.
Ku katakan dengan indah...dengan terbuka..

I can watch,and watch,and watch....=)

Okaay!I haven't been updating my blog since last week.So i better take some time to update now.
Orrrite,the girlguides camp 07 has officially ended on Monday,19 Nov.
It was a 3D 2N camp.aaaaargh.I'm seriously glad it's oveeeerrr! =D
But I have to say,this time the camp wasnt as bad as the previous years.
Maybe cos of our fantastic leaders.=)
I'll try to keep this short kaay.
In short,the camp was seriously exhausting..like d-uh,it's a camp.
Day 1.
We were grouped into the theme:Nuts.My group's GINGKO! =)
so yeah,then we pitched up tents under the sun,till lunch.
Lunch wasnt ready till about 2 plus.Aiyoh,we had to practically cook ourselves,no such thing as "catered food". =/
Then,we went for a hike to PasirRis Park,to build sandcastles. =_=
hahha.But we built high-class sandcastles okaay,it even attracted kids and some by-passers.
After that,we went back to school,and walked the looooooong way,
one whole big round out from PRP,just to avoid the muds and all.
It was a long journey ok,I think i was half-dead.
We walked frm Elias Mall,to WhiteSands and all the way back to sch.
It was dark by then.I even wished I had a car license or something. =/
Thanks to dear Phayshuen,who said that we were actually burning lots of calories. =)
So that night we bathed late,like 9 plus..bathing was alwaes heavenly okaay.
Day 2
Today,early in the morning,we and the NCC girls proceed to Kallang River for.... DRAGON BOATING!!!!!!
Gosh,dragon boating rawks ok.At first,I was shocked to see the boats which looked like sampan to me,and tongkang to some others. hahha.
Scaaary lar,but after the briefing I felt more curious to try it. =)
First,when each of us stepped into the boat which can fill in 20 ppl,
the boat will seem unbalanced.so we started screaming.hahha.
We were soooo near to the waters,when we sit down.
We learnt how to paddle..the trainers rawk. =)
It was a lifetime experience,seriously. =)
Even though my arms started to ache after a while.
And we got to see Ben.Sheares Bridge from the river,and also Spore Flyer.Cooooool. =D
Then we went to spore museum for a mini amazing race,organised by the leaders and me too.It was tiring for most of us.
Dragon boating made us lost our energy.haha.
Soo..mainly,that's it.I was exhausted by nightime.
But we also had a mini campfire,with the NCC gals and boys.
woooo,fun!we kinda had a dancing night.=)
The NCC seniors made it more memorable toooo.
Lastly,the most fun one.At night,about 11 plus,we had to clean the toilet!!!!!!
Mainly we the sec 3s had to do everything.I was busy mopping the floor.
Even though the toilet was in a "Eeeeuuuw" state,we had to clean it cos the cleaners werent working on Sunday.
Hahaha,I remembered Atikah put a Bvlgari shower foam into my mopping water bucket,instead of a missing mopping soap.
Then the floor smelled nice.yucks.
So we,the cinderellas,as said by our juniors,cleaned the whole toilet till it was sparkling clean.yaaaaay.Mission completed.
Thanks to the sec 3s,saffanah,atikah,syazwani..all others. =)
We were the cinderellas for the night!
Next morning,we all had an amazing backache.
So basically that's it.Day 3,no need to say la,nothing happened.
We got to mix around well in this camp. =)
Soo..yeah.Hope all of the girlguides enjoyed it.
Even though we never had enough sleep.Sleep at midnight,wake up at 5 plus.Haiz..... =(
It's just finally over.
To the sec 3s,thanks for everything,mainly making this camp possible.
Esp the leaders,Nadzirah in particular,who had to go for another NYAA silver camp this week,starting on Mon.Nadz,you can do it!You're the most caring leader....ever! =)
And also my dragon boat partners,Muneera,Saff,Atikah and Syaz.
Hahha,we had much laughter while dragon boating,till it affected the whole ting.hahahahaha.
I think it was cos of Atikah,she soooo semangat! =D
To the rest of the juniors,esp GINGKO members,TengPing,Atiqah,Olivia...you girls had been supportive to us!

Okaaay,i noe i haven't post the bbq pics yet.Wait laaa kay.
So,the foundation prog is finally,FINALLY ending this Thurs.
After 3 weeks of schooling when it's like,our holidays..=(
But nvm.In preparation for the big Os,next year.
Today basically almost everything was okay,except for the weather which was,aargh,terrible.I am sitting under the fan in class ok,plus the rain and all,it was enough to make me shiver.So I was having bad flu in the mid of the eng compre test.and yeah,the compre was soooo difficult la,I dun reali understand the passage and there were so many questions to answer by less than an hour.and to Umairah,stop disturbing me laa during tests! aaargh.
Aiyoh,headache-ing ehh. =(
Other than that,Oh ya.Izzah told me something last week which gave me a total shock.hahha.
she saw HADY MIRZA,our spore idol recently at Orchard area.
I was astonished,but she,no reaction ehh. helooo?
it's hadymirza ppl! Walking near you with his friends,or something. But who cares about his friends? It's Hady Mirza.=D
I told Rachel today and she was staring at me.
No,I'm not kidding,Rae..Iza saw hadymirza.=) (she even said dat Hady looked fairer in real life.Grr.)
Talking bout Hady,makes me wanna talk bout Taufik.
Ok,I soo like Taufik's new songs,teman istimewa and more.
sooo nice.Not surprising laa hor. =)
And yeah,my uncle even told me he saw Taufik in a local hotel's toilet.hahahaha.
Really,reeeeally laarh! My uncle even said that he didnt react.
Taufik was probably preparing for a show.
I told my uncle that if it was me,I will stop him,or something.
I dont care bout the toilet thing,as in,gents or ladies' room..=)
Sooo..enough bout our fellow idols. =D
and im craving for swensens icecream.btw jus now i had fun buying hotdogs in a bun with my galfrens.weee,nice nice!

So yesterday was 3/5's BBQ which I had attended.
It was fun la,everything went okaay,just that i heard most of the teachers didnt get to attend it,like Ms Koh and Ms Lena Lim.
So mainly only Ms Lim,our Chemistry teacher came to the BBQ.She arrived kinda late,and we welcomed her with water bombs.At first she didnt get wet,cos she threatened us that she would minus marks for our next Chem test.
But nah,everyone was supposed to get wet.So at the end she got wet,she even said that someone spilled a whole 1.5l bottle of water on her. hahha. =)
The food was nice too.I could smell the food from the toilet nearby.really.I tasted the marshmellows dipped with chocolate,and of course the stingray,which i tasted a bit before the whole plate of it went missing. =/
But it was very hot and very yummy.
I love bbq fooood! =D
I liked the water bombs part.Soo fun.=)
I got wet la,of course,the whole playing thing was reali fun.
I should have thrown one of those on Clara,cos she didnt get wet!
My galfrens and me played by the sea before night came.
The wind was nice..weee.
But not that fun leh.sooo dirty,the mud was awful!
Sorry to Clara,whose slippers was broken by me cos it was stuck in the mud! =(
PS. low tides laaaah ytd.aiyoh.
But still,playing by the sea was fun.
Fish,fish and fishes. hahha.
At night it was supposed to be fun.But aargh,it started raining at about 7.The clouds were soo red ok.
So me and my frens went home early,together with Ms Lim.
We went home by taxi,thanks to Ms Lim.=)

OK.today,Im gonna post some pics I took during a friend's outing recently.
We had fun chilling out together,and of course we had pizza.
that's the most exciting part okaay. =D
Weeee..
and we had pepperoni pizza,btw. =)
If u see it properly,that's my name,written by the cashier.
This means that I belong to the pizza world...lol.
Nadz and iza,drinking choc ice-blend when i was having sore throat.Im gona kill them for it.

The spongebob was soo cute okay.We can stop ourselves from taking pics with it! Well,except for Iza,who wasnt interested at all in spongebob-ing and pic-takings..
and of course,we played around with the tiaras and all..
for once I feel like a 5-yr-old instead of a 15-yr old in Toys R Us.hahha. =D
Tmr's Deepavali.Finally,another holiday.
But there's Art to settle with.*sigh.

Heloooo.So tmr I am having Art lessons after school.Greeeaaat.
Today in school was okaay,we watched an African movie during social studies,it was meant for us to understand the chapter we're learning now..the movie was..scaaary,i should say.
Cos there were lots of hurtful scenes,like people lying dead all over a street,a person holding a parang meant for chopping off hands and legs,and young children having a high risk of being killed...need I say more?
hahha.
So that was mainly for today.Ytd was kinda fun too.I went to my aunt's house and gather with my cousins.=)
I tried playing Guess Who? and ended up losing everytime.
Even my younger brother won.=/ hahha.
Anyway,the 3/5 BBQ is this Friday.I almost forgot about it.
I hope it's gona be fun.=) They say there's gonna be water bombs and all..weeee.
And I heard there's stingrays and moore foood.=D
Waaaat?It's a BBQ,after all.
And Im in charge of buying snacks.oooopppps.
Oi,Rachel,we still havent buy it yet! =/
And finally,I get to post some pics regarding the novel and movie of To kill a mockingbird.
This is the novel;but I think is of an old version.
It looks plain boring,but I find it really interesting.=)
and this is Jeremy Finch(Jem) and his sister,the major characters in the novel+movie.
Jem's a great brother.hahha.
OK.It's black and white cos it's a classic movie,filmed in 1962;
what do you expect?
That's all for now.Gotta rush and finish Chemistry Hw.

OK,so there goes a week of my foundation programme.urgh.
Seriously,i can't wait for THE holidays.I know the lower sec students must be resting at home now,and can wake up late every morning....=/
not like the poor sec 3 students..still have 2 more weeks of lessons.*sigh.
today and the last few days,it has been raining heavily.The weather was cloudy and all..very nice to sleeeeep.esp this morning,i was almost late for sch,as usual,cos i couldnt wake up at 6.It was cold and all,enough to tempt me to sleeeep.tired arh.=(
But no.I couldnt even find time to rest.Since Monday,we had tonnes of homework piled up for each subject.I tried to do all of them,and found myself having a nap when it's only like,9pm?
I think this programme added more hw for us.So forget about resting kaay.Now it's just focus,and focus. =
I can actually feel the heat of the O levels,when it's like,next year.
Seriously arh..i saw the math paper 2 which MingYee let me have a peek on,and the Malay paper frm Umairah.and Art....Oh my God.
Ms Koh was terribly pissed off with the art students after sch today.
She stepped into the class and I gulped.She looked like she was going to flare up on us.But,i could see that she was controlling herself.
I just dont know,i was too confused to absorb what she said.
She was just talking..and talking..with a stern expression.It was just too scary for me to even look up to her.
Well,mainly she was angry cos most of us didnt turn up for art remedial,and some students really tested her patience.She asked us to drop the subject if we cant take it.I couldnt imagine dropping the subject cos we onli take 7 subjects..so,guess i have to go through the tough situation next year for six months,and try my best.It's gona be very,very hard for me next year,I'm sure.
So at the end,Ms Koh gave us a two-week timetable of Art lessons.
Starting frm next wk. =
Yesterday,on the other hand,we watched To kill a Mockingbird,a classic movie frm the 1960s.We are studying the novel now,since it will be tested for the Os.After watching the movie,I find the movie interesting and am more interested to read the novel.Or else,when i flipped the book way before,I seriously dont feel like reading.I thought it was bor-ing.
But no,the story is amazing.Really,I liked the characters,and the storyline is good.So yeah.
And also,during the movie,there is a character called "Boo Radley".
There was this scene towards the end which featured him,the camera zoomed onto his face.My classmates said he looked like Jason,one of my classmates who was at that point of time sitting right behind.
We laughed our hearts out,cos really,Jason looked almost as similar as Boo Radley!!His hair,the face..Hahahahahaha! =D
So yea,that was "To kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee.I recommend ppl to read it,cos although it's thick,it reveals good values to be learnt,and of course,the storyline is actually simple and understandable.Um,ok la..it's not as if i said i LOVE...this book.I dont,that's the thing.Hee.Not realli interested in classic books.But no choice rite..I have to actually study the novel itself.
Lastly,on Tuesday I went for learning journey to HDB hub.At 2pm,it was such a drag,cos i was very tired and wasnt in the mood for all these trips...so in the bus on the way there,I was basically trying to get some sleep..while Clara who was beside me,was staring out the window.
She's tired but she can hold herself frm sleeping.Seriously,she's soo strong.hahha.
When we reached,I was kinda shocked to see a huge,tall,building infront of me.That kinda woke me up a bit. Hee.
The tour through the HDB gallery was okaaay.Kinda interesting,but who cares about past HDB buildings,the future,and whatsoever??
aaaaaaargh.=/ I tried to think positively,though.It's a learning journey,after all. aargg.
I learnt quite a lot,but i cant recall.hahha.Whatever larhhh..
Wow,this is one loooong post.again.
and yeah,my deardear girlfriends,we had fun splashing water and playing under the rain today.hahha. =)
And i feel like going to Escape Themepark,and get on the 360 degrees
thrilling ride right now.Scream my lungs out.
I need a break,and i want to have moore fun! weee.hahha.=D
