Finally, Friday's here.
and im starting to feel sick.
i need to rest. i need to rest. gaaaaaaah.
next week's gonna be a challenging week,
because there are just so many presentations coming up.
again: ONOW,ITB,RWPS,EC. Ugh EC!!
and i've got plenty of stuff to catch up on.
yesterday i had lunch with Jill,nini,jieyen,grace and yingying. (:
at swensens. happy moments cos the food was nice. took some pics but i'll upload another time.
yea, we had earthquake, and i like hazelnut ice cream a lott. or was it macadamia? :p
okay, whatever but we had a great time.
i mean after so many tiring days. i need to keep my mind off school for a while.
yea and after lunch my head started spinning a little. dont know why.
ok i think i better get some sleep now,
feeling unwell. whats wrong with my stomach already? :/
and there's like badminton tmr with the sparkies. i'll see if i can even walk tmr man.
totally out of energy right now.

~me and Shijia
my first formal duty- done and over with. went fine.
just didnt excpect the whole lecture theatre to be extremely filled with lively students mainly
from school of CASS and design. haha. i learnt a bit about water resources. no, a lot actually.
because i was seated right in front of the VIP and i was trying hard to understand the whole dialogue. haha!
and i didnt know that VIPs walk so fast. really.
oh and i saw Rui Yuan among the crowd. he was like staring at me and my uniform, mouthing "You speaker ah?"
Me: *widens eyes* noo.
ruiyuan: then? *looks at me suspiciously*
Me: im ushering.
ruiyuan: *blur*
Me: usheringgggg. (mouthing)
ruiyuan: ohhh. power ah you. *thumbs up*
Me: err.
haha so that was ruiyuan. hardly see him in school. he's in engineering school, is it? =/
i saw quite a few ex-classmates today actually. First was Jason, then Sean who is in business school also.
yeah, what a day. im so tired.
no, not because of my duty, because me and shijia walked all the way to end of the campus to support team SP ambass! :D
but unfortunately, they weren't there when we arrived,exhausted, because the whole race ended already. -.-
there were some other teams hanging around, and i could feel the team spirit even though the race had officially ended.
50 rounds in about 2 hours, wooh. (:
oh yes, for those of you, SP students, who wants to exercise but has no time, try walking from business school
all the way to the end of the campus, slightly further from food court 1. END TO END man.
somehow me and shijia felt that we ran for poly 50 also. haha, as tired as them. :D

The time has come.
okay, tmr's the day when i will be ushering a VIP, a minister.
it will be my first time everrr ushering a VIP. it's really a chance and a learning point too.
because i think in time to come, i will mainly be ushering random guests,
students, during events. :)
i also wanna wish all the best to my sparc friends, mainly Jay, who is running for poly 50 tmr.
hope to come down after my duty to support and cheer them(: maybe i'll even bring pom-poms along, haha! :D
I think they need major support to run 50 rounds, it is certainly not easy. i've seen them during training. determination, determination.
and i think when the runners see the whole team trying so hard, they will give their best too.
This kind of race is good.
okay, as usual, school stuff.
ECONS test today was okaay, just that when i started the paper all the formulas kinda slipped off my mind. =/
but overall, still okay. i donttt like costs of production, full-stop.
now we are learning about inflation and taxes. TSK. plain boring.
and i spent the whole night of yesterday finishing the econs assignment which is part of our CA.
almost died. seriously. it absorbed each and every one of my brain cells.

Okay i shall make this a fast one.
Not supposed to be blogging, i have tonnes of things to do.
Mainly ECONS,UGHHH,i have to study for tuesday's test which involves the two topics i donttt like:
costs of production and market structure. TSK.
suddenly i dont feel like doing econs. when i havent even started. =/
okok, whinings aside.
i actually watched a bit of singapore Vs Liverpool's match.
oh maaaan, how can singapore ever win to Liverpool right. ok i kinda know nothing about soccer
but i do watch a bit of soccer okay.haha

another skoolskoolskool post
There happens to be something wrong with blogger for my laptop so i cant really post the last few days.
Updates, updates.
this week was just tiring for me, as usual. Lectures, esp econs are getting dull as we were learning about the national economy, which was just blah. accounts lectures are moving faster and faster and im starting to get lost. UGH.

Oh yes, GGT presentation on monday went fine. GGT aka 'hawaiian theme' presentation on french polynesia. i still like the red flowers we wore on our hair. Still wondering about what Mr Gray said, if you put it on the left/ right side above ur ear, it means ure single/attached. But what if you put it in the middle? haha, guess it.
P.S i shall make my way to french polynesia one day. in future.
Anyway, on the brighter side, the cruise trip for DTRM students should be confirmed already. So yeeeaaay. :D We will be departing exactly a week after Hari Raya, on a Sunday. Basically the cruise is a super star Virgo, to Penang and Phuket. Yeah man, Phuket. :D:D
It's a four-day learning trip, so i better make sure i have my camera charger with me.hehhe
and yea, we will be visiting hospitality students too in one of Phuket's university. cool. and of course, some shopping. yeay again.
We havent had a detailed breifing yet regarding the itinerary, but i heard there's like midnight supper. 6 meals a day, yes. :D
okaay, basically thats it. exams are getting nearer and there's no more holidays until after the exams itself. busybusybusy, i just wanna survive this upcoming week and settle projects at the same time.

LONG post
im not exactly free to blog now, not supposed to be here, blogging.
but i'm here, and im blogging. haha, this is simply because
i have a burning topic to blog about. :)

i became a fan of the facebook group, "i dont like to squeeze in MRT".
i mean who likes crowded MRTs? i'm kinda used to being in extremely crowded
trains, and yes, i've experienced, and witnessed some incidents.
i read this group's facebook wall and i agree with one of the comments made.

People actually RUN, from platform A to B in Cityhall, east west line.
yes, they RUN across. and usually i'm the one who is boarding from cityhall itself,
and when i see the train from the west arrived, the doors open,
and i can see a flow of people. even working ladies run in their heels. such sights, and more.
it's like the train is overflowing with people.

sometimes i can get squeezed all the way to the train doors.
i ended up leaning against the doors itself. it becomes worse when the people around
me are bigger and taller, so i cant really breathe properly. it's true.

im kinda used to standing all the way from tampines to dover, which is like 20 stops.
it's an achievement, okay. but usually i will start swaying a little when i reached dover. haha
and the worse thing that can ever happen is if the train is stuck in the middle of nowhere.
and you're right there standing without having a pole to grab, holding your laptop plus you're running late. yeap, worse thing that can ever happen. =/

the time was around 3pm. yes, the train is already full after noon. always.
and i was so tired i dozed off while standing, hugging my laptop.
when i opened my eyes again, i almost stepped onto someone. who is sitting down on the floor, doing homework. -.-
a kid from dunno-what school. i realised that people were either staring at his papers or
staring at HIM. well, i was staring at him.
why would someone sit down on the floor and do homework like no one's business? why?
when people are standing around him. UGH.

i seriously think that people should not even sit down in trains when it's crowded, please.
and people should stop pushing to get in the train. just to get seats. -.-
well sometimes i think i need the seat more than others do, because i have 20 stops to endure.

and the screen read: Joo Koon : arrived
and there was this guy who ran like he was in a marathon all the way to the control station area, and then up, to catch the train. he was wearing a business suit btw.
i cant help but to giggle. :D

and sometimes, funny ringtones make me giggle too.
in the morning, the trains are crowded and the atmosphere is kinda quiet.
so there was this ringtone of birds chirpinggg, from low to high volume. :D
the uncle took quite long to stop the ring as he was busy digging for his phone.
super funny, everyone was looking at the uncle's handphone when he took it out. haha!

okay, i had a fantastic weekend.
saturday was meetup with my dearies. we had a great time catching up
and eating and laughing our hearts out.

17, on the 7th of July. :)
okay, today was a great day for me. i finally turned seventeeeen!
a bigbig THANKS to all those who wished me today,
my secondary sch dearies, my cousins and of course, my classmates. :)
thanks guys for the vanilla cake! you guys made my day.
oh to some of my sparc friends too, thanks for the well wishes,
specifically to Wanting and Kabin. and Jonathan. er, sorry if i forget to include anyone here.
really appreciate the fact that they knew i turned 17 today, haha. you guys made me smile.
and yea, hugs and kisses to Naeem and Nadz and Rae and Izza and Ngalam,
for the birthday messages. I was so touched by Naeem's message and Nadz too.
i really miss them, a lot. and Rae was so cute, "Welcome to the 17 world!"
when i read her message during my econs lecture i was like, smiling to myself.
and izzah's wake-up-call message, thanks to you too babe. hahha.

SPARC update!
so the sparc deportment class yesterday was kinda interesting.
but tiring at the same time. Imagine spending almost a day in a class.
i would call yesterday's session a workshop actually.
it's called corporate etiquette and professional image workshop.
professional image indeed.
the ladies, 7 of us, spent like 2 hours or maybe more, having a makeup lesson
after learning etiquette. was kinda fun, because ALL the makeup stuff was provided
by the trainer. and mostly the stuff are brand new. from various brands like Lancome. :)
I think it was challenging to actually know and DO makeup the right way.
yes, we actually have to makeup by ourselves.
and yes, i ended up putting too much blusher, so i spent some time trying to brush it off.

the trainer said we must know the right amount of makeup for different events.
so yes, for every event we must look good from top to toe. TOP TO TOE.
for the guys, it was so easy for them because all they have to know is regarding tie,shirt,and coat stuff. :D
basically, nothing hard about putting on your coat right. but the thing is they gotta learn the proper way to put on their coat. how does that sound? :)
compared to us ladies who gotta spend time putting layers of makeup. =/
ok sparc ROCKS. and i made it into the publicity committee. :) ok bye.

okaay, today marks the end of the MSTs. YEAH! :D
today was statistics and yesterday was econs.
stats today was kinda challenging for me. =/
econs, being econs, was a think-a-lot paper. the MCQs, especially.
i realised that it's not over yet. projects are mostly less-than-half-done,
and the date dues are getting nearer. it's never going to end right.
but at least tonight i'm not gonna touch my notes or anything related to it. :)
for once. haha.
badminton with Jillian after school today was kinda fun.
because i missed badminton, a lot.
and i wanna learn more racket games like tennis and squash. :)
oh, lunch with classmates yesterday was fun too. i think we ate too much. haha!
alrighty, i wanna go watch some teevee. i miss teevee too. haha!
and then maybe get some sleep after that. tmr's going to be a long day for me.

Halfway through the year.
It's already July. I like today's date, July 1st. Nice date.
anyway, accounts is done and over with and tmr, is ECONS.
ECONS, ECONS, ECONS. yea.
Latest news, is im gonna do my first official ushering at the end of this month.
gonna be ushering a VIP, a Minister. a lil scary, if you ask me.
Like what if i did something wrong? =/
but somehow, i feel kinda excited too. It's definitely a whole new experience. :)
plus, im gonna be ushering this VIP on my own. even scarier.
i can do this, yes.
before that i better start preparing my stuff for formal uniform.
shoes and whatsoever. important. makeup,hairdo,and stockings too. hehe :)
cant imagine myself in the uniform with makeup and everything.
too professional laah, haha!
okay now im nervous already. seriously i am.
