HIT THE MUSIC.
p.s this is gonna be a lil wordy, hehe.
so my duty yesterday was okaay, nothing much to do actually.
it was actually the closing ceremony of Polyforum 09 at SP.
and the GOH was Dr Vivian Balakrishnan. yea.
He seemed like a really nice person when he talks.
we all had to usher the rest of the VIPs mainly principals from all the polys.
and my job was backstage. taking care of some dialouge session
stuff and helping out this and that.
the event stretched till night,
so during the dialouge session(which was the longest part of all),
we, the sparc ppl and the comperes ppl on duty, went to gather
and chit chat at backstage.
haha, quite fun cos they all cracked jokes and i couldnt stop laughing
for a while. ;D
on the other hand, i think i need a foot reflexology. badly.
i think i stood for too long, and those heels made it worse.
in the end, i walked around barefooted at backstage with my stockings still on.
one of the friendly organisers even asked, "is that ballet shoes ure wearing?"
hahhaha, it's just so nice to be out of heels for a while. really.
oh did i mention how nice this person is?
even though he was busy, when we were all backstage,
he sneaked out to get some mini popcorns for us to share while the GOH talked and talked, also mini pizzahut pizzas. :D
not only that, he also 'forced' us to try some leftover brownies from the VIP room.
which tasted good. (:
after the whole thing ended, just outside the auditorium there was
like a mini party. loud, good music, and spotlights and all. awesome.
some of the students even went to so-called dance around, haha. ooo and free can drinks. ;D
ohh, my Apec airport training before that went fine.
besides the 2hrs wasted just to get police access pass for the duty-free areas.
haha. other than that, everything was okay, very informative and i liked
the idea of welcoming the delegates before they reached the arrival hall.
i hope im given the chance to stand right outside the plane. haha.

i'm finally taking a rest now, wow, i've been so busy.
now im gonna go watch teevee. hehe.
