hey yea.
The reason why im updating now is because i have something to blog about,
despite my overwhelming tiredness that im feeling right now.
reached home at 10am sharp just now,
after my SP ambass scheduled interview round 1 today.
So.
My timeslot was similar to phayshuen's. thank god. at least i knew i wasnt gonna be alone.
both of us went through the interview together. :D
I guess i underestimated the interview. i thought it was gonna be cheery and interactive,
but no. it wasnt cheery. and did i mention that it was superrduperr formal?
8pm:
when 5 of us entered the room,all the year3s from sparc was sitting in a semicircle,
watching us. i swear that from the time we stepped into the room,all eyes were on us.
ALL EYES. all 13-15 pairs of eyes.
the following half an hour went slow. the super serious atmosphere freaked me out.
i was like so nervous,and the other 4 was too. phayshuen was fidgeting a little.
even deep breathing didnt manage to calm me down.
why? because when they asked us a question,they gived us 1 min(lesser) to think of an ans
and just speak out to them. i remembered that i was biting my lips and squeezing my fingers all the time. haha!
and imagine having to look after your sitting posture and calm expression every second,
while focusing on answering the questions.
the questions were definitely not easy. gosh.
one of them were: what talents/past experiences u have which u think u can contribute to sparc? i was like sooo unprepared. ugh.
and i remembered the guy beside me who was always the first to start.
he was speaking so confidently and smoothly. how could he? i could actually hear the nervousness in his voice,but somehow,he's really good at hiding 'flaws'.
when the interview finally ended and we all stepped out of the door,
i could finally breathe ah. gosh,our faces were undescribable! =/
this is the first ever interview which was so freaking serious. freaking scaryyy.
the interviewers were all busy staring at you while you speak, some scribbling down every single word you said. and the pressure's alwaaays there!
they keep asking questions,and if you take some time to speak out,they will just stare.
hmmm, public relations huh.
okay i shall not babble any further,but today was a new experience for me.
was so glad that phayshuen went through it with me.
we're all in this together! :D
i hope i can get into this cca, if not, sports cca will be my alternative. =)
ohhh btw, today so many sports ccas are having camps. looks like fun. *faints
