SP Flag Day 2009
okay so ytd was our flag day.
i still dont get whyy freshmen must do flag day every year.
they say it's a tradition or something like that.
But yea,i was assigned at Woodlands in the morning,
then me and a friend went to Admiralty at noon,to collect extra.
hahhaaa, enthu a bit ah. :D
There were many funny stuff we went through,
like some random ahpeks saying political stuff and dunnowhat.
i didnt know how to react to that,haha.
the donation was in support for president's challenge.
that's all it says in the tin! i didnt know how to explain when people ask for more info.
then there was this guy who was like rushing for work and i stopped him
to ask for a donation.
Me: Hi would u like to donate?(*smilesmilesmile*)
Guy:what is it for?(*hurries through his words*)
Me:um,(*looks at tin*),in support for president's challenge..
Guy:(*looks at tin again*),(*grins*),heh,you dunno what it is right..
It was kinda embarassing,because i couldnt explaaain clearly!
who could? i bet my other friends dont even knoww what it's for,exactly.
hmm,other than that i was really touched by some aunties especially,
whom from a distance,as soon as they saw me,they started digging through
their purses for some coins. when they approached me,they simply put those coins in
before i have the time to say,"would you like to donate?"
really,it was just nice to see some generous and kind-hearted singaporeans. (:
okayokay,i have some pictures i took to share.
i spent most of the time with a friend,Jia Yin,to collect donations.
so when we were starting to get tiredddd,and boredd,we took some snapshots
besides chit-chattingg. (: maaan,it WAS super tiring okaay. so tiring that i wasnt in the mood at all to attend the freshmen party after school. so sad.

and celebrating rae's birthdaay too. hapy 17th birthday to Rachel Rae today! :p
she turned 17 on the 17th of april,and watching 17 again tmr. seventeeeen!
