Okaay!I haven't been updating my blog since last week.So i better take some time to update now.
Orrrite,the girlguides camp 07 has officially ended on Monday,19 Nov.
It was a 3D 2N camp.aaaaargh.I'm seriously glad it's oveeeerrr! =D
But I have to say,this time the camp wasnt as bad as the previous years.
Maybe cos of our fantastic leaders.=)
I'll try to keep this short kaay.
In short,the camp was seriously exhausting..like d-uh,it's a camp.
Day 1.
We were grouped into the theme:Nuts.My group's GINGKO! =)
so yeah,then we pitched up tents under the sun,till lunch.
Lunch wasnt ready till about 2 plus.Aiyoh,we had to practically cook ourselves,no such thing as "catered food". =/
Then,we went for a hike to PasirRis Park,to build sandcastles. =_=
hahha.But we built high-class sandcastles okaay,it even attracted kids and some by-passers.
After that,we went back to school,and walked the looooooong way,
one whole big round out from PRP,just to avoid the muds and all.
It was a long journey ok,I think i was half-dead.
We walked frm Elias Mall,to WhiteSands and all the way back to sch.
It was dark by then.I even wished I had a car license or something. =/
Thanks to dear Phayshuen,who said that we were actually burning lots of calories. =)
So that night we bathed late,like 9 plus..bathing was alwaes heavenly okaay.
Day 2
Today,early in the morning,we and the NCC girls proceed to Kallang River for.... DRAGON BOATING!!!!!!
Gosh,dragon boating rawks ok.At first,I was shocked to see the boats which looked like sampan to me,and tongkang to some others. hahha.
Scaaary lar,but after the briefing I felt more curious to try it. =)
First,when each of us stepped into the boat which can fill in 20 ppl,
the boat will seem unbalanced.so we started screaming.hahha.
We were soooo near to the waters,when we sit down.
We learnt how to paddle..the trainers rawk. =)
It was a lifetime experience,seriously. =)
Even though my arms started to ache after a while.
And we got to see Ben.Sheares Bridge from the river,and also Spore Flyer.Cooooool. =D
Then we went to spore museum for a mini amazing race,organised by the leaders and me too.It was tiring for most of us.
Dragon boating made us lost our energy.haha.
Soo..mainly,that's it.I was exhausted by nightime.
But we also had a mini campfire,with the NCC gals and boys.
woooo,fun!we kinda had a dancing night.=)
The NCC seniors made it more memorable toooo.
Lastly,the most fun one.At night,about 11 plus,we had to clean the toilet!!!!!!
Mainly we the sec 3s had to do everything.I was busy mopping the floor.
Even though the toilet was in a "Eeeeuuuw" state,we had to clean it cos the cleaners werent working on Sunday.
Hahaha,I remembered Atikah put a Bvlgari shower foam into my mopping water bucket,instead of a missing mopping soap.
Then the floor smelled nice.yucks.
So we,the cinderellas,as said by our juniors,cleaned the whole toilet till it was sparkling clean.yaaaaay.Mission completed.
Thanks to the sec 3s,saffanah,atikah,syazwani..all others. =)
We were the cinderellas for the night!
Next morning,we all had an amazing backache.
So basically that's it.Day 3,no need to say la,nothing happened.
We got to mix around well in this camp. =)
Soo..yeah.Hope all of the girlguides enjoyed it.
Even though we never had enough sleep.Sleep at midnight,wake up at 5 plus.Haiz..... =(
It's just finally over.
To the sec 3s,thanks for everything,mainly making this camp possible.
Esp the leaders,Nadzirah in particular,who had to go for another NYAA silver camp this week,starting on Mon.Nadz,you can do it!You're the most caring leader....ever! =)
And also my dragon boat partners,Muneera,Saff,Atikah and Syaz.
Hahha,we had much laughter while dragon boating,till it affected the whole ting.hahahahaha.
I think it was cos of Atikah,she soooo semangat! =D
To the rest of the juniors,esp GINGKO members,TengPing,Atiqah,Olivia...you girls had been supportive to us!
